About us

The Lion Inn has been providing food & shelter to weary travellers for hundreds of years and now is the home to great food, boutique rooms and a beautifully presented function space and wedding venue. With a big American- style bar displaying vintage posters and artworks throughout, the building retains many of its original features. The Lion Inn is often fondly referred to as ‘The Old Pub’ welcoming everyone to enjoy delicious food and drinks including a Sunday Roast, children’s menu, real ale, craft beer and extensive gin list. The Lion Inn also hosts evening entertainment in the main room and elegant bar, has garden and outdoor space and an enormous restaurant serving pub favourites and adventurous specials.
